Hi I'm Andy an ISM. I've been with Air NZ since 2009. I started flying with another airline in 2004 - 2006 and did 1 year of casual private flying in Wellington. I have been married to Elton for 28 years and have 3 grown up children Hayden 30, Matthew 27 & Christie 21. I also have 2 granddaughters Emily who is nearly 5 & 3 years old Ellie and Chanel our beautiful German shepherd who is 6.
At FAANZ I take care of Hotels along with Greer and I also do the Strategic Engagement Governance Meetings & Steering Committee with Craig.
I’m very proud of our union and how much we have been able to accomplish for our crew.
Gina Urlich

Gina Urlich is a dedicated professional, community volunteer, and family woman based in New Plymouth. With a passion for aviation, she has spent an impressive 20 years flying with Air New Zealand and has served as a delegate for five years, advocating for her colleagues and industry.
Beyond her career, Gina is a devoted wife and mother to two beautiful teenage children. Her family is the cornerstone of her life, providing love and support as she balances work, community service, and personal interests.
An animal lover at heart, Gina shares her home with a cat and two beloved dog's Ollie, a rescue Bichon cross, and Cooper, a mischievous little sausage dog. They are her loyal companions, often accompanying her on walks along the stunning New Plymouth coastline.
Gina is also deeply involved in her community. As the youngest member of her local Lions Club, she dedicates much of her free time to volunteering, making a meaningful impact on those around her. Whether through service or simply lending a helping hand, she is committed to giving back.
With a life centred around family, service, and the flying Gina Urlich embodies dedication, kindness, and a deep appreciation for the world around her.

I started my career with Air New Zealand in 2015. Operating on the 787 & 767. I did a secondment to Longhaul for a year & a half before returning to midhaul. Had a year & a half break during Covid. After returning in 2022 I become a health & safety representative. At the end of 2022 I became a DSM. I’m a proud member of the rainbow community.

Andrea Smith has dedicated 30 years to the aviation industry, beginning her career with Ansett before joining Air New Zealand, where she has been for the past 23 years. Passionate about aviation, she has built a wealth of experience over the decades. Andrea is also looking forward to representing FAANZ in the 2025 negotiations and continuing to support its members.
Outside of work, she is happily married and a proud parent of two children. She also shares her home with two beloved dogs, making for a busy and fulfilling life.

As a flight attendant with a decade of experience, I've had the privilege of travelling the world while ensuring passenger safety and comfort. In addition to my time in the skies, I've been a union delegate with FAANZ for over a year, advocating for my colleagues. When I'm not working, I love hitting the road for adventures with my partner and cherishing quality time with my family.

In my decade as crew, I've learned that managing systems effectively requires a balance of practical application and an awareness of evolving technologies. While I may not classify myself as a tech enthusiast (“geek”), I consistently seek out new tools that can streamline processes to improve the experience for our members and delegates.
With a background in theatre production, writing, and content creation, I understand the importance of clear communication and efficient workflows. By integrating innovative solutions, I aim to simplify daily tasks, making it easier for everyone involved. Whether it's adopting new software or refining existing practices, my focus remains on enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our organisation.
